MUA Haul

If there is one brand that is affordable and good quality it's MUA. They have a nice little range of things so I went to Superdrug the other day and picked up a few of their things. I got 3 lipsticks,1 of which is matte, 1 blush and a nail polish.

These are the lipsticks that I got, I had never actually tried MUA lipsticks before today. They're very soft and easy to glide onto the lips, although you have to work a bit harder with the matte one. They're very pigmented as soon as they're on the lips, can't go wrong for £1 each?! Juicy & Peachy Keen are both coral colours which are both gorgeous while Tulip is more pink. My favourite is Juicy.

I then got a blush which was also just £1 which is an amazing price for a blush. It is a pretty pink blush with just a little bit of sparkle. I haven't actually tried this yet but I am so excited to. This blush is in the shade Bubblegum, I have heard raving reviews on this blush especially!

I then thought I'll get a nail polish, if I am totally honest, I was not expecting much from their nail polishes. I am totally a Barry M girl when it comes to polishes but when I saw the colour I just had to get it. This was also just £1! I picked a gorgeous coral colour in the shade Sweet Peach, again, I haven't tried this yet but it looks like a beautiful summer colour so will be using it very soon!

Younique Mascara

A little while ago I was contacted by a lovely lady named Manel Salah asking if I would like to try out a product and review it on my blog, so of course I said yes! The product I am reviewing is the Younique mascara, I'm excited to tell you my thoughts on it.
*I was sent this product for free* I cannot thank her enough!
Please visit her site here: www.youniqueforyoubymanel.com

When my package arrived I was so excited I ripped open the packaging it was in! The product comes in a gorgeous case very similar to a glasses case. Inside it comes with two products which I will explain further down the blog post. A little photo was also attached inside showing the mascara on the lashes. The products are securely in the case.

There is actually two wands. One is a transplanting gel and the other is natural fibers. How it works is you apply a coat of the transplanting gel to your lashes, it's best to do one eye at a time. Then straight after with the natural fibers apply it just like a normal mascara, the small natural fibers will stick to the transplanting gel making it look like you have lots of long separated lashes.

I think this mascara is absolutely great. I guess the only downside to this is that you have to keep swapping from wand to wand depending on how many layers you want.

On my left eye I used my normal mascara which is the Collection No Clumps and on my right eye I used Younique. I wanted to compare length, so I did this! You can definately tell which mascara is which.

Overall, I really think this product is great. When I am wearing this mascara, it honestly looks like I am wearing false lashes, I thought I had already got naturally long lashes, until I used this beast of a product. I would totally recommended.

Beauty/Skincare Wish List

Recently I've been eyeing up so many beauty & skincare products but at the moment I have got literally no money. This is the problem with beauty, there is absolutely thousands of products to choose from you could spend so much money! I'm saving up my money so I can hopefully buy a things which are on my wish list.

  • Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask - I've previously used the Cupcake mask but wanted to try a different one. BB Seaweed has fresh seaweed, ground almonds, rose absolute and aloe vera to sooth the skin which sounds so great. Also has kaolin which removes any excess dirty or oil on the skin which is what my skin needs!
  • Sleek Face Form Palette In Fair - Sleek is one of my favourite make up brands, I have quite a few of their products and have never had a problem. I've been eyeing this up for ages and I've heard so many raving reviews on this. It contains a highligher, bronzer and a blush.
  • Makeup Revolution Blush Palette In Sugar And Spice - Makeup Revolution are a very popular yet inexpensive brand lately, 8 blush shades for the price of just £6, you seriously cannot go wrong. Also, some of the shades look great for highlighting too.
  • Benefit High Bean - Benefit are one of my favourite brands. My mum has the mini high beam and I'm always stealing it because I love it that much! It shows I need to buy my own lol.
  • Barry M Speedy Nail Polishes - These have only recently been released but what caught my eyes were the colours! I love pastel colours and they look gorgeous for spring/summer! And they're speedy at drying! So that's a big bonus.
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder - I've wanted this for a long time now. Sometimes I really don't feel like wearing a liquid foundation, especially when it's hot weather. This looks great as it gives great coverage for a powder, it is kinda pricey just for a powder though.
  • Lush Ro's Argon Body Conditioner - This is Rose Jam scented and it's one of my fave lush scents! My mum has a small pot of this and if I'm lucky she'll give me a bit, it's so soft on the skin it's unreal and the smell is to die for, I need the big pot in my life!!!
  • MAC Lipstick in Brave - This lipstick looks gorgeous, whenever I go to Mac I always pick this up and have a quick swatch. Whenever I buy another Mac lipstick, this will be it! It's pretty similar to Velvet Teddy which is very popular.
  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer - I need this bronzer in my life, I've heard raving reviews about this bronzer especially for us pale skin folks, bronzers I have used in the past have always been orange or just way too much on my skin but this looks just right for me.
