December Empties 2015

UThis is my first empties post! I can't believe that I haven't done one of these before. I find it interesting seeing what people have enjoyed so they actually finish something off lol. If i tend to not like something, I either just give it away or put it on the shelf and never use it.. I get a feeling of excitement when I have used something up.

First few things are some items from Lush! Lush is my all time favourite shop, literally, I could spend all day in there smelling the bath bombs, testing stuff out!

Cup O' Coffee Face and Body Mask - If you're a coffee lover like me, then you'll love the smell of this. Smells exactly like strong black coffee. This is a mask which doesn't need to be stored in the fridge as it lasts around 3 months. The grains of coffee are great, they remove dead skins, but also leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed afterwards. It is slightly more harsh than most of their other masks.

Santa's Lip Scrub -  I love Lush lip scrubs, this is my second pot. I loved this product, it's great to remove dead skin on the lips and also to moisturize them as it has jojoba oil in it. Especially in Winter when your lips can get dry and flaky, just grab a tiny bit of this and BAM, your lips are kissable! The best part about this is that it's edible as it's just sugar! So I always lick off the excess, it tasts like yummy coca cola.

Celebrate Body Lotion Sample - I frequently make orders with Lush online, so when I got given this sample in my parcel I was very intrigued. This lotion goes such a long way, you need the tiniest bit! It shares it's scent with the Golden Wonder bath bomb which is called the Celebrate scent. I absolutely loved this lotion that much that I grabbed one in the Boxing Day sale.

The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel - This shower gel amazed me! As I'm a big lush fan, I always kind of ignored other body care shops. This shower gel is amazing, the scent is beautiful,  just like fresh strawberries. It lathers up so well so you only need a little amount to wash your whole body, the scent stays on me throughout my whole shower and even when I'm out. Everyone knows when I've used it as the scent even stays in the bathroom for hours, no lie!

Gatineau Eye Make up Remover - Besides from Garnier Micellar Cleanser, this is hands down the best make up remover I've tried. My eyes can be known to be sensitive as I wear glasses all day, but this helps cool my eyes down after a long day while removing my make up at the same time. It is a very gentle remover. This big bottle lasted me ages and I'm gutted that I've ran out.

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash - So many people have raved about this face wash, yeah it has a nice colour, yeah it smells nice, but is it as good as people really say? I decided to buy it and try it out. Ok, I have to agree! After using this daily in my shower, my skin always feels so clean and refreshed afterwards. The grapefruit scent is very uplifting so great for early morning starts. This bottle lasted me about 3 months while using it every day, one pump goes a long way. I will definitely buy another bottle of this.

August 2015 Wishlist

When it comes to wishlists, there isn't ever enough space to include everything that I want! I thought that I would do a August/Summer wishlist.

Zoella Let's Spritz Body Mist:
I love fruity smells so when I first got a sniff of this I loved it instantly, and no, not just because it is by Zoella. I also have the first body mist too.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow:
When it comes to my eyebrows, I can never find a product which I really like and can never stick with one. I have heard amazing reviews about this product, I would love to own this one day.
Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Fruitii:
These lip butters are so moisturizing and soft on the lips, they have a wide selection of colours, But as it's now into the Summer, what colour is better than a coral?!
Mac All That Glitters Eyeshadow:
This is one of those easy eye shadows which will go with any lip colour. I love a plain glittery eye.
Benefit Coralista Blush:
When it comes to blushes, coral tones suit be better as i'm a natural red head. I have always wanted to try this blusher but never come to buying it, I definitely will be soon.
NYC Bronzer:
This is a cheap bronzer but I have heard that it's a great product. I suck with bronzers, so I always like to experiment with cheaper bronzers to get used to,
Little Mix Gold Magic Perfume:
I am a massive fan of Little Mix so when they said they were releasing a perfume I was so excited. I haven't had the money available to be able to buy this yet, but it smells very fruity!
Lush Roots Hair Treatment;
I have tried many of Lush's hair products but this is one i'm yet to try. It's very conditioning for the hair and great for stimulating the scalp. I feel like every once in a while everyone needs a good old hair treatment!
Real Techniques Contour Brush:
Real Techniques brushes are brilliant, I have all their original range and dying to try bold metals, but I just can't bring myself to fork out so much money for one brush?! I would love to have this brush.

Younique Mascara

A little while ago I was contacted by a lovely lady named Manel Salah asking if I would like to try out a product and review it on my blog, so of course I said yes! The product I am reviewing is the Younique mascara, I'm excited to tell you my thoughts on it.
*I was sent this product for free* I cannot thank her enough!
Please visit her site here: www.youniqueforyoubymanel.com

When my package arrived I was so excited I ripped open the packaging it was in! The product comes in a gorgeous case very similar to a glasses case. Inside it comes with two products which I will explain further down the blog post. A little photo was also attached inside showing the mascara on the lashes. The products are securely in the case.

There is actually two wands. One is a transplanting gel and the other is natural fibers. How it works is you apply a coat of the transplanting gel to your lashes, it's best to do one eye at a time. Then straight after with the natural fibers apply it just like a normal mascara, the small natural fibers will stick to the transplanting gel making it look like you have lots of long separated lashes.

I think this mascara is absolutely great. I guess the only downside to this is that you have to keep swapping from wand to wand depending on how many layers you want.

On my left eye I used my normal mascara which is the Collection No Clumps and on my right eye I used Younique. I wanted to compare length, so I did this! You can definately tell which mascara is which.

Overall, I really think this product is great. When I am wearing this mascara, it honestly looks like I am wearing false lashes, I thought I had already got naturally long lashes, until I used this beast of a product. I would totally recommended.

Beauty/Skincare Wish List

Recently I've been eyeing up so many beauty & skincare products but at the moment I have got literally no money. This is the problem with beauty, there is absolutely thousands of products to choose from you could spend so much money! I'm saving up my money so I can hopefully buy a things which are on my wish list.

  • Lush BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask - I've previously used the Cupcake mask but wanted to try a different one. BB Seaweed has fresh seaweed, ground almonds, rose absolute and aloe vera to sooth the skin which sounds so great. Also has kaolin which removes any excess dirty or oil on the skin which is what my skin needs!
  • Sleek Face Form Palette In Fair - Sleek is one of my favourite make up brands, I have quite a few of their products and have never had a problem. I've been eyeing this up for ages and I've heard so many raving reviews on this. It contains a highligher, bronzer and a blush.
  • Makeup Revolution Blush Palette In Sugar And Spice - Makeup Revolution are a very popular yet inexpensive brand lately, 8 blush shades for the price of just £6, you seriously cannot go wrong. Also, some of the shades look great for highlighting too.
  • Benefit High Bean - Benefit are one of my favourite brands. My mum has the mini high beam and I'm always stealing it because I love it that much! It shows I need to buy my own lol.
  • Barry M Speedy Nail Polishes - These have only recently been released but what caught my eyes were the colours! I love pastel colours and they look gorgeous for spring/summer! And they're speedy at drying! So that's a big bonus.
  • MAC Studio Fix Powder - I've wanted this for a long time now. Sometimes I really don't feel like wearing a liquid foundation, especially when it's hot weather. This looks great as it gives great coverage for a powder, it is kinda pricey just for a powder though.
  • Lush Ro's Argon Body Conditioner - This is Rose Jam scented and it's one of my fave lush scents! My mum has a small pot of this and if I'm lucky she'll give me a bit, it's so soft on the skin it's unreal and the smell is to die for, I need the big pot in my life!!!
  • MAC Lipstick in Brave - This lipstick looks gorgeous, whenever I go to Mac I always pick this up and have a quick swatch. Whenever I buy another Mac lipstick, this will be it! It's pretty similar to Velvet Teddy which is very popular.
  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer - I need this bronzer in my life, I've heard raving reviews about this bronzer especially for us pale skin folks, bronzers I have used in the past have always been orange or just way too much on my skin but this looks just right for me.

E.L.F Haul!

Hello!

If you didn't hear, E.L.F Cosmetics are basically shutting down in the UK, so on their website there was a up to 70% off all their products! When I heard about this, I couldn't help but check out their make up and buy a few bits, as it turned out to be pretty cheap!! I've never tried E.L.F products before this so I was excited. My package finally arrived and tbh it was pretty quick to say how many orders they must of got. I'm going to talk about what I got down below! :)

6 Luscious Liquid Lipsticks
2 Hypershine Lip Glosses
2 Single Eyeshadows
1 Lipstick

I'll start with the Lucious liquid lipsticks! I had heard a lot of good things about these products from people in the bbloggers community. Firstly I'm not the biggest fan on the packaging of these, if I'm honest I'm not keen on any of ELF's packaging on their products. I like the actual product though, the colours are all beautiful. I thought that I'd try a range of shades, they're highly pigmented and glossy. My favourite shades are 'Perfect Pink' and 'Ruby Slipper'. They look lovely on the lips and aren't too sticky like some liquid lipsticks can be, for the money of them, I'm really happy with them. I have inserted photos below of swatches of the colours!

I also got 2 of the Hypershine Lipglosses in the shades 'Flirt' and 'Bubblegum' they're pretty similiar, they're both sort of coral colours which I'm really digging atm. If I'm honest there isnt much different in these and the liquid lipsticks, they give the same sheer finish. I like how they look on the lips, and they aren't very sticky which is great because is there anything worse than a sticky lipgloss?! I would say these a less pigmented than the liquid lipsticks.

I also bought 2 single eyeshadows, when I checked out the eyeshadows there wasn't many left but I thought I'd be daring and choose some colours that I wouldn't normally wear! I got a brown ish shade but it has a tinge of burgundy in it? It's kind of hard to explain if you can't see it in person sorry. These sorts of colours always make me eyes look weird. I also got a purple which didn't look bright on the website but when it came it was much brighter than I thought it was, again, this is out of my comfort zone but I'm excited to use them. They're much more pigmented in the pan, it took me a few swatches on my arm to build up the colour.

The last thing I got was just one lipstick, again there was barely any shades left but I wanted to try one anyway. I got a sort of muted red colour, on the swatch it doesn't look as nice as it does on my lips, it feels nice and soft on my lips, not drying. The thing I really dislike about this prodcut is the packing, it's just so awful, not just the look of it, but it's so stiff to twist up the lipstick. This is the only thing putting me off them, but the actual lipstick its self I really like.

That's all I got in my E.L.F haul, thank you for reading. Do you own any E.L.F products?

Benefit Roller Lash Review!

Hello everyone! Today I've got a review for Benefit's brand new mascara called Roller Lash! As of the moment it hasn't actually been released, but in Elle magazine there was a little sample of the mascara which was so popular this month because of it! So I thought that I would buy the magazine purely to get that!I wanted to try it out because They're Real has always been my fave mascara and I thought nothing could beat it, until this...

Here is what the packaging and the product look like. Sorry that the picture quality isn't that great! I think the packaging is really nice, I love the colours of it! It looks so classy. Benefit are always number 1 with the best packaging literally!

These are some of the things people rated about the macara and I would agree with all of them, my lashes look so much more lifted when using it, the curl definitely lasts and my eyes look so much more wide open and bigger, I honestly prefer this mascara over They're Real because I also think it gives the same lengthening as They're Real does, which then the curl is an extra bonus.

Here are a few photos of the wand. It's like a curved wand, is that how to describe it? I think the shape of it is really great for the curling of your lashes, it works so well! It's similar to the new Maybelline mascara?!  Because of the curve on the wand, it works great to grab each lash and make your lashes look so much fuller and more separated. They're Real really clumped my clashes unlike this one.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this product, I use it every single day in my make up routine and I will definitely buy the full size product when it's released.

Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

Hi everyone! Before I say anything else, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm 8 days late I know lol but oh well! It's also my 17th birthday tomorrow yay! January 9th :)

It's been a while since I last did a tag post so I thought I'd do one, I looked through some and found this one which I liked, enjoy lol :)

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

I'd rather loose all my palettes and eyeshadows because I use the other 4 ALL the time!
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I'd rather chop it all off because it'd grow back right? And my hair is in such a bad condition lol!
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral! It suits my hair colour much better, but I do also love pink cheeks.
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Make up defo, I like clothes but make up interests me more. I can always just live in my black leggings hahaha!
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick because you can get coloured eyeliners so that's not bad really is it.
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
MAC, I've never been to Sephora, I'm from the UK.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
I'd rather use one eyeshadow colour because you can go for a neutral and basically use any lip colour :)
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter because you can always put more layers on, and I'd hate to wear winter clothes in Summer because I absolutely cannot cope with being too warm ugh!!
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright! I'm more of a bright nailed girl than dark, love my pinks! ;)
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Hmm this is pretty hard but I'd have to go with lip because I cannot live without my favorite mascara. :( BUT, I love lipsticks ughhh;(
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Pony tail because I look pretty weird with my hair up in a bun lol.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lipgloss, lipgloss annoys me tbh and I cannot leave the house without painted nails, no joke, seriously..
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Probably no eyebrows... nobody wants sharpie brows. This is so hard though.14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish as much as I love it, I love make up more. I feel like I can experiment more with make up. :)

Maybelline Colour Tattoos Review

Hey! Long time no blog post, yet again, sorry! BUT IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS HOORAY! I'm so excited for Christmas it's always such a fun time of the year, are you guys looking forward to it? What are you hoping for this year? :)

I'm going to doing a review on some of my favorite make up products ever, which are the Maybelline Colour Tattoos in 'One and On Bronze' and 'Pink Gold', these are the only two I have but I absolutely LOVE these colours so much and I will defo be getting more colours!

LEFT: Pink Gold
RIGHT; On And On Bronze

Okay! These are basically cream eyeshadows by Maybelline, which I absolutely love so much and use all the time! They're very creamy which makes them easy to apply and easy to blend if you don't want the colour as harsh, because the colours are amazingly pigmented I can't believe it! One little sweep on the lid and it's totally opaque which is brilliant to say it's a drugstore product. The little pot holds so much product it's unreal because you don't need much so they will last for SO LONG! I honestly don't favour one over the other because I love them both so much. I literally get one little bit on my finger and it can cover my whole lid! I either just have this on my lid or sometimes I also put another colour eyeshadow into the crease to define the eye look. I think these would be great for people who are maybe not as confident with normal eyeshadows because these are so easy to apply! These retail for £4.99 each which I think is very reasonable for the amount you get in a little pot, I would definitely recommend these and will also be buying more colours!

I hope you've enjoyed reading this post and I hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year!

November Favourites

Hello everyone! So it's currently the 6th of December and I'm only just doing my November favourites, sorry! Here are my favourites below in the photo :)

So my first favourite is the L'oreal True Match foundation, mine is in the shade rose ivory which i believe is the palest shade? Anyways, this is such a great foundation! So many people have raved about this foundation on blogs and youtube so I thought I'd pick it up and give it a go. I'm really impressed with this, it's a medium coverage so you can build it up for a full coverage or go lighter for a more natural coverage, it's a bit runny though which makes it great so it's easy to blend! It retails for £9.99, obviously you can get cheaper drugstore foundations but I definitely think it's worth the price of it. They have SO many different shades so I think there would be a shade for every skin colour/type! Overall, I've really loved this foundation and when I run out, I plan to get another one. :)

Next is my MUA eyebrow pencil in the shade blonde, this was only £1! As if!? For that much I had to buy it and I've been loving it! It's the perfect shade for me and matches my hair so well. It's really soft for a pencil so it doesn't give harsh lines and I hardly have to press down for the product to work. I think MUA is a very underrated brand and I'd definitely buy this pencil again.

Okay next is LUSH! I just want to say how much I love Lush it's honestly one of my fave things ever. So when I saw that this limited edition lip scrub was out I had to get it! I haven't been let down! It smells and tastes like cola bottles which is amazing because who doesn't like cola bottles? This product always leaves my lips feeling super soft, I use it everyday mainly before I go to bed. It is a cute tiny pot but it lasts for ages because you only need to use the smallest bit! I'm so sad that this is limited edition just for Christmas time though!

My Bourjois blush has always been my absolutely fave but this month I really have genuinely loved it. During Autumn/Winter I don't like to go overboard with blush and contouring but I think this colour is perfect for this time of year. It's in the shade Rose Ambre which to me is a more coral shade than pink which I personally prefer. It gives such a pretty glow and colour to the cheeks. It's also really small which is great for travelling.

My last favourites are 3 Barry M Gelly Nail Polishes in the shades from left to right(in the photo), Plum, Watermelon and Blackberry. I think these shades are great for this time of the year. I actually won these from Barry M in a competition. The Gelly ones are my fave because the give such a nice shine to your nails because sometimes I feel like dark colours look awful on my nails but the more shine it has the better it looks.

I hope that you enjoyed this post :)

Sleek Eyes And Cheek Palette Review

Hello everyone, I'm sorry that I haven't made a post in quite a while and tbh I don't have any excuses! I just didn't know what to next write about. But I recently won a competition with Sleek and I won both their new Eyes and Cheek palettes. They actually retail for £10 each so I'm so happy that I won them! I have been using them so I thought why not make a review post on them? I haven't yet done a review post on my blog so here goes! I'll include a few photos of the palette itself and swatches on my arm. They're called 'Dancing Till Dusk' and 'See You At Midnight' so I hope you enjoy! :)

So this is the palette Dancing Till Dusk! This palette is SO pretty! I think it's my favourite from the two. The coral coloured blush is the blush in the shade Sahara which you can buy separately! It's a matte so it's great. The other blush is a soft pink which has glitters in it which is really cute and gives a shimmer to your cheeks making you look extra good! The 4 shadows all come from the Au Naturel palette, the colours are quite similar, with the velvety browns and the pale shades which are great for a base, these shadows would be so good to create a smokey eye! My favourite shadow is the glittery pale one I think it's SO pretty, the photo really doesn't do the colours justice, sorry! It comes up a gold in person. I would definitely say these are VERY pigmented. It also comes with 2 little brushes, a shadow brush and a blush brush.

So this is the other palette in 'See You At Midnight'. Again, isn't this palette just SO pretty aswell?! I would say this palette is definitely one for you girls who love a bit of smokey eye. These colours are very pigmented so you don't need much on your brush at all tbh. The beautiful eyeshadows come from the Romance I-Divine Palette, they're deep purples and blues which are so pretty on any skin tone. The darker blush is in the blush Pomegranate which again, you can buy separately. The other blush is a dusky rose. My favourite shadow is probably the golden shimmery one yet again like the other palette, I can't get enough of these colours lately!

These palettes are actually quite small so very handy if you're travelling especially because it's a 2 in 1 product, I would definitely recommend these products, so go check them out!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and I will be doing more reviews on products soon :) Thanks for reading! (If you got to here) :D

October Favourites

Hello everyone, hope you're well! :)

Today I've got my October favourites for you! I've been loving a few products throughout October so I thought I'd share with you, I'd definitely recommend all of the products I talk about because they're so good and worth the money. October is one of my favourite months because it's autumn and that's my favourite month. I love everything about it! :)

Urban Decay Naked 3
I'm gonna start with my NAKED 3 palette, omg this palette is literally a dream! I know that it's got more pinky shades than the other 2 but I still love to use it during these autumn months, it's my absolute fav palette and the pigmentation is AMAZING! I've used it every single day i've worn make up and I generally can't explain how much I love it!

Yankee Candle Tealight French Vanilla
I've never really been a big candle lover much before but my mum actually gave me these because I got a new lantern which burns tealights, so I thought I'd try these out and they smell luscious!! I don't really know the difference between vanilla and french vanilla but ok lol? I am defo gonna get some more candles from the Yankee range!

Rimmel Kate Moss 107 Lipstick
Okay I have seriously wanted this lipstick for AGES! When I got it I was so happy, it's a really dark berry red and perfect for the autumn/winter season. I wasn't sure if it would suit my pale skin but it's actually really flattering. I've seen that Zoella wears this aswell and she rocks it so well! This is defo my go to lipstick atm!!

Barry M Berry Cosmo Nail Polish
I picked this up in Superdrug along with some other colours. This colour is great for the autumn, it's a really dark subtle purple and it actually looks good on both short or long nails! It also looks amazing with a glitter polish over the top. I would defo recommend this polish if you're looking for a dark purple. For me personally, it started to chip after about 4-5 days which is pretty good!!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
One word to describe this product is incredible!! This takes off ANY make up like a dream! They're Real mascara by Benefit is so hard to get off but with this it's so much easier, it also doesn't sting my eyes at all! I saw a lot of people rave about this product so I thought i'd try it out and I wasn't disappointed. I would also defo recommend this product aswell!

Thank you for reading my post ( if you got to this point) :)

Fashion/Beauty Haul!

Helloooooo everyone :) I hope you're all well.

Recently I've been shopping and I've bought a few things so I thought that I'd make a blog post about some stuff I bought. I love reading/watching other people's hauls I always find them so interesting and want so much stuff they have! :-) x

As it's now autumn and winter is coming soon I needed some more long sleeve things such as jumpers but not big fluffy things if you know what I mean? So I recently picked up some different ones, I love what they all say on the front!!

Full Time Fashion Blogger I LOVE THIS! I have seen this sooo many times when I went in River Island but I never wanted to  spend £25 on it :| but it was now in the sale for £12!! So I knew I just had to get it:) I mean come on, full time fashion blogger?! It's so me haha!! I also love how the fashion is a pink background making it stand out more! So this was just £12 from River Island.

Nothing To Wear: I also LOVE this omg. Nothing to wear describes how I feel everytime I look in my wardrobe yet there's clothes there. This is such a great jumper which you can literally throw on with any bottoms on as it's white and goes with anything! Something which is also great to lounge around in :) I got this from New Look and I'm pretty sure it was either £10 or £12, but i'm not sure sorry!

I picked up 3 Barry M original polishes and a glitter polish too, these were actually on buy one get one free which was amazing tbh! I'm actually obsessed with nail polish I never leave the house without a colour on my nails, I hate the way they look bare. Anyway these colours are all so beautiful, the first two are pinks but the photo doesn't do the pink glitter one justice it looks red on the photo! The other two are purples great for Autumn! L-R Shocking Pink, Ruby Slippers, Berry Cosmo and Vintage Violet. They're normally £2.99 each.

Next I went to Lush and whenever I go there I just have to get something.. haha!! The lush shop smells amazing so why not ;) Anyway I got Candy Mountain Bubble Bar which is £2.75 and Shoot For The Stars which is £3.50. Candy Mountain smells absolutely AMAZING, it's a very sweet girly smell so if you like sweet smells, this is for you! It's also glittery which makes it extra cute. Shoot For The Stars has got also a nice smell but it's not sweet, I recently used this before writing this post so I can't remember the smell much sorry! But it made my bath a really dark midnight blue and it has PINK inside which I didn't expect, also it's full of glitter and little stars!!

I picked up this L'oreal lipstick in Pure Red by Eva. I've never really owned a red lipstick because I've always felt like I look stupid in a colour like this, but I tried it on and I really liked it, especially now it's Autumn and Winter next it's a really nice red. It looks more bright in the photo but it's darker on my lips. I got this from Boots for £6.99 and they're doing a 3 for 2 on all L'oreal products :)

I hope you've enjoyed this post as I enjoy reading everyone elses about their hauls and stuff they've bought recently, so have a great day, thanks! :D

How I Wash My Make Up Brushes!

Hey everyone!

I'm going to show and talk about how I personally clean my make up brushes and what works for me. I know many people have different ways and use different things so I thought I'd share mine. Obviously I'm no expert so haha. Cleaning brushes is such a boring job but when they're all nice and clean after it's literally the best feeling!!
Washing your brushes regularly is important so you don't keep spreading bacteria from your face and to the brush, which can cause break outs of spots on your face which nobody wants.

These are the brushes I was cleaning when doing it this time around.

So the first step is to wet your brush under lukewarm water, make sure you're holding the brush downwards as you don't want water going down into the brush, it can make the bristles fall out.

After your brush is dampened, put some of your cleaning product onto either the back or palm of your hand. Today I was just using a hand wash as I had no shampoo left. Don't worry if there isn't enough you can always add more if you think it needs more, obviously more is needed for bigger brushes.

Next, grab your brush and start to swirl around in circular motions on the product, remember to keep adding a little water onto the brush to lather the product up getting more dirty product out of the bristles.

When you've finished doing this, squeeze out all of the water and dirty product into the sink. I actually find it fun to watch it all drip it haha!! Knowing all that dirt has been in my brush disgusts me!! Keep adding a little water aswell to make sure you're getting it all out of the root of the brush.

Ta-da! After these photos I cleaned the rest of my dirty brushes!  When all your brushes are clean it's time to let them dry, it's best to let them try overnight to really dry them. When letting them dry, try to let the bristles end of the brush face down onto some toilet paper or a towel, this makes the dregs of water come out of the brush to thoroughly dry it.

By the morning your brushes will be nice and dry ready to use again!

Thanks for reading :)
